Charlton Athletic sack manager Guy Luzon with immediate effect.
The 40-year-old joined the club in January of this year, helping the stuttering side to a safe mid-table finish last season before they began their current nose-dive down the table.
The club informed Luzon of their decision following Saturday's 3-0 home defeat against Brentford, which followed an identical result against Preston North End.
A statement from Charlton added: "The club would like to thank the trio for their efforts and a further statement will be made in due course".
David Martane was recruited in the summer, having worked with Israeli Luzon at Standard Liege in Belgium.
The Addicks has lost seven of their last nine league games and last won in the Championship in late August.
"It's not a first time manager's role", he said. Do you think he'll be given the job permanently? I don't feel I am the right person for that.
