Jacksonville Jaguars defensive end Dante Fowler was caught watching the mother of his child fight another woman in a TMZ video.
The incident reportedly occurred on February 1 at a Florida apartment building and takes place in a hallway outside of an elevator.
But there's a good chance the Jags and the National Football League are going to want to speak with Fowler about what went down now that this video has been released, so stay tuned for additional details. TMZ reported the two parties are Fowler's girlfriend and the mother of his child.
Fowler was clearly involved in the conversation from the start of the video, and literally steps back as to say, "you two can go ahead and settle it yourselves", as he watches one girl kick off her flip flops and lets the two throw punches. The video surfacing is a sad reminder that emotions got the best of all of us.
"Dante brought the incident to our attention prior to the video being released and was embarrassed and remorseful", the statement said. "We will continue to look into the incident while offering resources and providing support to Dante and his family to help them through this private matter".
TMZ Sports reached out to police and found that they were never called to the scene of the fight.
Ryan O'Halloran of the Florida Times-Union in Jacksonville was the first to post on Twitter the comments from the Jaguars and Fowler. He missed the entire season due to an ACL injury suffered at the team's first organized practice last spring.
