"NX will be launched in March 2017 globally", the company's financial release said. While those rumors were largely debunked by Nintendo, many took even the rumors as a sign that the NX was incoming soon.
In a statement sent to us by Nintendo, the company reminded us that they had "previously announced that it would release more information about its next system, code-named NX, this year".
Recently, NeoGAF user "10k" shared some details about Wii U games that could also wind up on Nintendo's new console. This year's E3 will be all about Legend of Zelda, according to Nintendo of America on Twitter.
The Nintendo NX is rumored to feature exceptional hardware specifications and a software cycle that is going to see the console receive an abundance of first-party titles. While Nintendo has neither confirmed or denied rumours, it has said NX will represent a "brand new concept".
The company says that the delay will give its developers "more time to polish the game".
Moreover, the newest "Legend of Zelda" game will launch on both Nintendo's Wii U - its current home game console - and the Japanese gaming giant's next game console, now codenamed "NX".
This will be the second time that the game's release has been pushed back after the announcement of its development in 2013.
So far, Nintendo has not revealed about the game much, only a few trailers and a screenshot. It has a 2017 launch date, but it will be showcased at E3.
Nintendo has once again delayed the launch of the highly anticipated game, "The Legend of Zelda Wii U" for another year.
