The Windows 10 upgrade is a choice - created to help people take advantage of the most secure and most productive Windows. "People receive multiple notifications to accept the upgrade, and can reschedule or cancel the upgrade if they wish", a Microsoft spokesperson said in a statement for ZDNet.
According to a new report, Microsoft's push to update existing Windows 7 and 8.1 users is now becoming a thrust. Bill Gates might want to have a word with the company, after all there is no point saving people from dying from Malaria if they are going to be killed off by a Windows 10 update.
However, Microsoft is afraid of losing potential Windows 10 migrants through the latter move, but, unfortunately, it's risking something else - namely losing the goodwill of Windows users, or at least a fair chunk of it. Here we'll explain the two options for installing it: through Windows Update or by downloading the ISO file and installing Windows 10 manually.
Still leaves a bad taste in your mouth if you've closed that window more times than you can count, and the upgrade arrives on your PC anyway, I'd imagine.
