It looks like one of Microsoft's E3 2016 surprises may have been revealed early. The price for the new update was set for 449 dollars and as it seems, there is a release date set for the 31st of December. Sources familiar with Microsoft's Xbox plans had told us that the new Xbox One "Slim" would be 40 percent smaller, and the leaked image appears to show a smaller Xbox One in white. Moreover, we can clearly see the year 2016 on the image with the products list, so perhaps we can rightly presume we will get the chance to enjoy this new product by the end of this year.
In a recent statement corporate VP of Xbox Marketing, Mike Nichols explained that the company is "excited to share more details on what Xbox fans can expect this year and beyond", before teasing fans furthers by saying Microsoft "expect this to be a special E3".
While Microsoft has not released current sales figures for its Xbox One console that debuted in the market at almost the same time, industry estimates are that they are roughly half those of PS4.

Microsoft is expected to unveil two different Xbox One models next week at E3, and while one of them is likely to be a slimmed-down version, the other one could sport a 2TB hard drive.
