In an upcoming game, South Park: The Fractured But Whole, the main character's superpower is farting. "'South Park" creators Trey Parker and Matt Stone were instrumental in writing 'The Stick of Truth's script and have returned for the sequel. In case you were wondering just how the team managed to get their farts to smell so realistic, the team took the opportunity of Gamescom to release not one, but three video interviews.
Each press of the fart button releases the smell on the Nosulus Rift, which looks like a gas mask at first glance.
Fortunately, Ubisoft won't be selling the Nosulus Rift on the mass market. The player again controls The New Kid, though can now change his gender to female if they wish.
The device is fully functional but is only available during conventions like GamesCom and those who have tested it out have described it as "disgusting" to use.
The gameplay of "The Fractured But Whole" was showcased recently, and it is essentially a derivative of South Park-but this doesn't mean that only viewers of the TV show will find it enjoyable.
Worn over the nose, the device emits a fart scent "meticulously and without mercy" whenever the player farts in-game.
