Jennifer Lopez and Drake have called it quits, at least temporarily. "Who knows what will happen in the future when they're more able to be in the same place?"
The insider continued, "J.Lo and Drake are still talking, so people should know they are not in any means angry or that some incident happened".
Drake began his tour in Europe in January (and is missing the upcoming Grammy Awards because of his schedule, despite being nominated for eight awards) and Lopez recent resumed her Jennifer Lopez: All I Have concert residency in Las Vegas, so it does seem like their busy schedules could actually have been the reason this romance died down.
Lopez recently added fuel to the fire by sharing a series of cryptic quotes on her Instagram account with her 58 million followers.
Last month amid rumors that they were together only to garner publicity for a joint project, Lopez said she and the 6 God were working on a new track together. According to sources, the former couple have chose to amicably "cool" their relationship, meaning it is unlikely fans will hear their anticipated collaboration anytime soon. The singer posted the following message: " It's all about timing. Not so fast! If the rapper really wants to rekindle their romance since splitting from Jennifer Lopez, he must first jump through a series of hoops and prove his love is for real.
They then attended a winter wonderland themed fake prom at the end of December where Drake's pal Young Empire Music Group CEO Jas Prince captured the moment the pair were crown prom king and queen on Snapchat. They also shared a sweet kiss on stage.
