When he arrived at the scene, Womack found a Ford truck engulfed in flames dangerously close to the restaurant, with flames licking the side of the building.

Dash cam shows Officer Chris Womack jump a curb in his patrol auto and approach the truck engulfed in flames.

The incident happened after Officer Chris Womack received a call on February 11 about the truck on fire in the drive-thru line of a Jack-in-the-Box.

Other vehicles also were in the lane, blocking access, so Womack drove his auto over a grass median, pulled up behind the pickup and pushed it forward until it was in the parking lot away from the building.

The driver of the pickup, his wife and his daughter were able to escape without any injuries.

Womack got it to roll into the parking lot, preventing major damage to the building.

Officer Womack told Fox News, "My adrenaline was going a little bit". But in the video, I've watched it a couple of times, I'm breathing pretty heavily. It's unclear what caused the truck to catch fire.

Officer Womack nudged the truck with his patrol vehicle.
