The string of upsets this weekend continued Sunday, as the No. 7 seed Michigan Wolverines rallied from an eight-point first half deficit to upset No. 2 seed Louisville Cardinals.

Balado has spent the past four seasons at Louisville, which is 25-8 and the No. 2 seed in the NCAA Midwest Regional going into a Sunday game against MI.

Louisville coughed up an eight-point halftime lead in an upset loss to MI. They now head to Kansas City for their Sweet 16 game against the victor of the Rhode Island - Oregon game.

Arkansas State University has scheduled a news conference to introduce Louisville assistant coach Mike Balado as the new head coach of the Red Wolves. As has been usual under Coach Pitino, Louisville also presses teams to create turnovers. The closest he came to U-M was when he was about to commit to Louisville and MI assistant Bacari Alexander told him MI would be around if it didn't work out. Instead of making the lead 12, it stayed at nine and MI got aggressive.
