Microsoft is suffering server issues as users from around the world have reported being unable to connect to several of the company's services. Microsoft is now working on a solution and the incident count on Down Detector seems do have dropped in the past few hours but there are still some problems. Skype also said it was "currently working hard to resolve a problem, where users cannot authenticate into Skype with their Microsoft accounts".
According to Down Detector, the Outlook.com outage seems to be mostly affecting users in Europe and on the East Coast.
Some people who were experiencing problems were later able to log in again though Microsoft had yet to issue a formal statement. So if you are struggling with email, Skype, OneDrive, Office 365 or Xbox Live, then perhaps hang tight until Microsoft fully acknowledges the downtime and provides an update on a fix.
Microsoft's official Twitter account said Tuesday morning that some users may still receive error messages while trying to access their MS accounts. The team is working to resolve the issue as quickly as possible.
ZDNet reports accounts appeared to be back online without further issues around 9:30 a.m. ET.
