This weekend on Xbox Live you will be able to hit the slopes as Steep is Free to play from 10 March at 8:01am GMT to 13 March at 7:59am GMT.
Starting March 10, everyone on PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC can play the game for free until March 13. 10, gamers can start playing the game from their consoles of PCs. Since you're getting access to the full game, as well as the post-launch updates, expect to find a big download. The game was released back in December on the Xbox One and features various adrenaline-fueled activities such as snowboarding, skiing, wingsuit flying and more.
Along with the free game play, players will get the ability to dress in custom gear, grow the athletes reputation by competing in challenges, receive invites to sponsored events and even tackle some of the high heights and the more risky courses, according to the official website. The PlayStation Network discount will be 44 percent for either version, and on PC the discount is 40 percent for either. The standard edition of Steep will be 50% off during the free weekend. These deals will expire on March 20 (PS4), March 14 (Ubisoft), and March 13 (Xbox One).
Developed by Ubisoft Annecy, Steep is an online multiplayer-focused game allowing players to explore the snow-covered mountains of the Alps and Alaska.
All process you make during the free weekend will be transferable into the full game if you decide to buy it. Additionally, new camera angles and the ability to capture replay videos without the HUD, gives players even more freedom to show off their best stunts with the editor mode.
