Bayonetta is a fast-paced action game originally released on Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 on January 2010 and on the Wii U on October 2014. Priced at $19.99 United States, this is a long awaited port as fans of Platinum Games have been discussing the possibility of a Bayonetta PC port for years.
This doesn't appear to be some cash-grab PC port of questionable quality, either. The port features a wealth of graphics options including support for 4K resolution, 60fps refresh rates, anti-aliasing and more.
If you're not convinced, or simply don't know what Bayonetta is or why it is beloved, you can check out the trailer and development diary below.
Sega is celebrating the occasion by upgrading anyone who buys it before April 25 to the Digital Deluxe Edition for free. That version of the game comes along with a five track soundtrack sampler, a digital artbook, wallpapers and avatars.
One of the best third person action games of all-time - and one of our personal favourites - Bayonetta was last released as a remastered Wii U version, although the PC edition won't be exactly the same as that had some unique Nintendo references.
Original Story: Fans of the cult classic Bayonetta have been anxiously awaiting the end of the countdown clock that Sega has been hosting for a few days.
If you've played Bayonetta or the incredible Bayonetta 2, then you don't need convincing to pick this up right away. You can even use keyboard and mouse controls.
You can see Bayonetta running on PC with advanced graphical options enabled in the video above. Revengeance was released on PC, and more recently since the debut of critically acclaimed NieR: Automata, this is a dream come true for many. In addition, players can easily switch between Japanese and English for both the voice-overs and subtitles at any time.
