Beyonce reportedly gave birth to her twins - a boy and girl - almost a week ago, sources reveal.

The website reports a source telling them that doctors don't "feel comfortable" releasing the newborns just yet but they are expected to be OK.

Although the nature of the issue has not been clarified, an insider added that Beyonce remains at the hospital but 'is okay.

The 35-year-old R&B star announced she was pregnant again in February 2017 by posting a shot of her baby bump on social media.

"We have been blessed two times over. We are incredibly grateful that our family will be growing by two and we thank you for all your well wishes", she wrote, signing off with Jay Z.

The Halo singer's mother Tina Knowles shared her excitement as she anticipated the arrival of her new grandchildren.

We also don't know what the babies' names are yet - but Beyonce and Jay Z are fans of unique names, naming their eldest daughter Blue Ivy.

Reports she had become a mum began swirling this week when rapper Jay Z missed his Songwriters Hall of Fame induction on Thursday night. Really patient and kind.
