Wins for Roger Federer and Novak Djokovic on Saturday night (AEST) mean the "big four" are all into the second week of Wimbledon, as the men's draw continues to build nicely.

The next challenge after a day of rest: a date with Grigor Dimitrov on Wimbledon's so-called Manic Monday, when all the men's and women's fourth-round singles matches are played in a civilized rush.

The 35-year-old Swiss has been a model of efficiency breezing through four matches-including a set-and-a-half against Alexandr Dolgopolov, who retired with a foot injury-in just four hours, two minutes.

And then at 5-5, Zverev had the audacity to force break points on the Federer serve, only for the seven-time Wimbledon champion to save them with some serve-volley tactics of his own.

Federer beat Mischa Zverev, while Djokovic had too much for Ernests Gulbis.

But the sport's leading lights are safely into the fourth round and Federer said: "I think it's great".

Federer holds a 5-0 record over Dimitrov, including a four-set win at the 2016 Australian Open. Federer won 83 percent of his first-serve points, 73 percent of his second-serve points and faced only two break points in the match.

"It's always the first goal just to get into that second week and now I'm looking forward to having tomorrow off so that I can relax, and hopefully I will come back even stronger". He downed Zverev in straight sets, 7-6 (3), 6-4, 6-4.

Neil Stubley, the head of courts and horticulture at the All England Club, says measurements taken throughout Wimbledon's first week show the grass courts are as healthy as they have been in recent years.

Federer has never lost to Dimitrov in five meetings.

Who do you think will win the match?

Canada's sixth-seeded Milos Raonic, last year's runner-up at Wimbledon, advanced to the second week by beating 25th-seeded Albert Ramos-Vinolas of Spain 7-6 (3), 6-4, 7-5.

He finished with 55 winners and 26 unforced errors.

Querrey made headlines at the All England Club a year ago when he stunned Djokovic in the third round.

It took a matter of minutes for Querrey to finish off Tsonga in their third-round match that was halted due to bad light deep into the deciding set on Friday.

She says she will fly to NY on Sunday to see more doctors and will be sidelined "for a while". "As the match went on I felt I was dictating more from the baseline". This will be their first match on grass.

"(Anderson has) one of the best serves in the game", Querrey said.

The appearance of two brothers in the third round is the first time since the Gullikson twins, Tom and Tim, made that stage back in 1984. "I expect that every time I have played him he has become better".

The 13th-seeded Bulgarian built a 6-1, 6-1 lead over Dudi Sela when the 32-year-old Israeli, drained from winning successive five-set fights over Marcel Granollers and John Isner, pulled the plug. It is likely that the backhand and serve will be the key areas for both players, particularly Dimitrov, as he will have to maintain a high first serve percentage and protect his weaker backhand wing.
