As part of the Jio's Dhan Dhana Dhan first time recharge plans, the Rs 509 pack was previously giving 2 GB daily data to users for 84 days and will now be giving 2 GB daily data to users up to 112 GB for 56 days.
For Rs 999, 90 GB of data is being offered with 90 days of validity and no daily cap.
For postpaid users, the company is offering five different plans costing Rs 309, Rs 349, Rs 399, Rs 509, and Rs 999. Interestingly, under the new plan, Jio users can avail added data benefits. Reliance Jio now doubled the data amount and validity duration for all its postpaid and prepaid users. It offers unlimited local and STD calls, unlimited SMS, and 1GB 4G data per day, beyond which the speeds will be lowered to 128 kbps.
The new plans were announced as Jio's Dhan Dhana Dhan offer - launched on April 11 - reached the maximum allowed 90-day period on July 9. After the withdrawn of Summer Surprise offer by Jio due to TRAI regulation, the company again came back with these revised plans which seem to be very lucrative considering the price and the competition. There's also a Rs. 96 plan with 7-day validity with unlimited data of up to 1GB per day. At first, the data breach was observed in technology website Fonarena.com. tThewebsite also gained access to three of their employees who are using Reliance Jio sim through "Magicapk" website.
"For an ARPU of around Rs 120 (a month), the company is still giving 1GB a day, a signal that nothing much has changed", he said.
The Rs. 349 plan offers 20GB of 4G data after which the speed drops to 128kbps.
The user must be Reliance Jio prime member.
Reliance Jio is one of the biggest 4G player in the country. The Jio's DTH TV services with more than 360 channels and a "seven-day catch-up option being given to users" as well. This translates to a total data benefit of 224 GB for four months with the unlimited voice calls. So you're getting 56 GB of data on this plan. Likewise, the Rs 1999 plan offers 155 GB for 120 days, Rs 4999 will give you 380 GB for 210 days and the Rs 9999 package comes with 780 GB data and 390 days or 13 months validity.
