On Friday's episode of The View, Waters joined the talk show co-hosts for a roundtable discussion on politics, but since it was Auntie Maxine, the women had to bring up her online popularity-including her new hit single, "Reclaiming My Time".
"How far are we away from kicking Trump out the (sic) White House?"That really struck me as somebody who was brilliant and smart and all of that, but had a real sensibility and a heart and an understanding that a lot of people don't have.
"They are undermining him because they want to see him stop. Whenever anybody tries to distract me or block me (even with praise or platitudes) I'm gonna have to let them know that I'm Reclaiming My Time!".
"No, not at all", Waters said.
"Not only will we resist you, we will impeach you, Donald Trump" she said to an enthusiastic crowd.
"If this leak can happen for this president, that means it can happen for any president and other countries will look at us and say the United States of America, as a whole, is not a secure place", she said. She met with the panel of MSNBC's "Morning Joe" just hours before for an interview and reiterated her displeasure with the president. That they undermined our democracy, interfered with our elections.
Schumer is now the Senate minority leader while Rep. Nancy Pelosi is the House minority leader.
