It is now being reported that Arsenal will again lose out on the play in January as Manchester United will sign Lemar for £92 million.
Quick and skilful whilst also possessing an eye for goal and a superb passing range, Lemar is the total package out on the left flank, with his ability to play narrow and help his midfield no doubt appealing to Mourinho, and he could move to reunite Lemar with worldwide team-mates Paul Pogba and Anthony Martial.
The article also claims that Arsenal passed up the opportunity to sign Lemar for around £60m earlier in the summer, before trying to conclude a late big-money deal to land the attacking midfielder.
According to the Daily Star's David Woods, the Gunners are believed to have agreed a deal in principle with the club and agreed terms on a five-year contract with Lemar with wages in the region of £250,000 per week.
Arsenal are still interested and will rekindle their interest, be it in January or next summer.
A £92m deal would smash Arsenal's transfer record and it would be a major statement of intent from the north Londoners if they could secure one of the brightest young talents in European football.
