She was last seen around 2 a.m. Thursday in the area of Pub Webb, an off-campus bar and restaurant at 1527 Cecil B. Moore Ave. Philadelphia police believe a body found today in Paupack Township is 22-year-old Jenna Burleigh.
Hupperterz had assistance from other people who have spoken with police, Ryan said.
"There's nothing we have so far that indicates there's a previous relationship between the two", he said.
On Saturday afternoon, police discovered a body believed to be Burleigh on the lakefront property of Hupperterz's grandmother in Paupack Township.
"Our handsome angel is now in heaven", he posted.
"Temple Police have been working with the family, as well as coordinating resources with Lower Salford and Philadelphia police on the investigation", spokesman Bradon Lausch said in an email.
The suspect in the case allegedly drove to Wayne County following her disappearance.
Police said they believe Hupperterz killed Burleigh in his Philadelphia apartment, then moved her body at least twice - first to the Jenkintown home of Hupperterz's mother and stepfather, and then to Hawley, the website reported.
Police say the killing did not appear to be premeditated and that police did not yet know a cause of death.
According to 6ABC, homes in Jenkintown and Lackawanna County were also searched. Police say Burleigh was last seen with Hupperterz.
"This is early", Ross said.
The apartment house's address is listed on OffCampusPhilly.com as for rent to Temple students.
