Nathan Fillion's Cayde-6 provides those new to the Destiny franchise with a catch-up of sorts. There is something for nearly every type of gamer in Destiny 2, including gameplay for solo, cooperative and competitive players set within a vast, evolving and exciting universe.
Activision, Bungie, 72andSunny, RSA Films, and Framestore have come together to create a blockbuster live-action trailer for the global launch celebration of Destiny 2, a first-person action game, and the evolution of its award winning, internationally acclaimed predecessor, Destiny.
For all the action the trailer offers in a short amount of time, it offers just as much light-hearted comedy and visuals that may have once seemed impossible to bring to a live action trailer.
If you have the digital version of Destiny 2 pre-ordered on PS4, it's a 32GB download and pre-loads are now live in North America (they should go up tomorrow in Europe). While speaking to The Hollywood Reporter, Jordan Vogt-Roberts explained how he shifted from doing a huge movie like Kong: Skull Island to making this live-action Destiny 2 trailer. And now a psycho rhino named Ghaul is coming to take that away too. The actual mega fans of Destiny need to be able to watch this and say 'I'm proud of this.
The barrage of Destiny 2 trailers, game details and announcements are seemingly not letting up yet...
Still fresh from directing the enormous Kong: Skull Island, Vogt-Roberts could have opted for something smaller for his next project, like directing more episodes of FX's critically lauded anti-rom-com You're The Worst.
