The Honor V9 Play comes in two memory variants -3GB RAM/32GB and 4GB/32GB.

Huawei has recently launched yet another budget smartphone under its sub-brand Honor, dubbed as the Honor V9 Play, available for purchase in China as of now.

Our pet grip with the new Honor 6 Play is that it still runs on the now dated Android 6.0 Marshmallow OS. The Honor V9 Play is powered by 3GB/4GB RAM with 32GB of internal storage which is expandable up to 128GB via a microSD card.

One of the most appealing features of the device is that it comes with a 20+12-megapixel dual rear camera which is capable of capturing breathtaking images by providing stability even while in dark conditions. The device also features volume and power buttons on its right side. It is still unknown when the device will see its launch in India and there has been no word regarding it either. The V9 Play is powered by the MediaTek MT6750 SoC with 1.5 GHz octa-core Cortex-A53 CPU and Mali-T860MP2 GPU. This should translate to around Rs 9,800 and Rs 11,700 respectively. This is a budget 4G phone with 3020mAh battery and 2GB RAM. On the camera front, the device flaunts a 13MP rear camera with LED Flash, PDAF, f/2.0 aperture; videos can be recorded at 1080p and a 5MP front facing camera with f/2.2 aperture. The smartphone also features a fingerprint sensor placed at the back that claims to unlock the phone 0.4 seconds. On the connectivity front, you get 4G VoLTE, WiFi, Bluetooth 4.1, GPS, GLONASS, dual-SIM and micro USB port.

If you were surprised by the Honor V9 Play's pricing, the Honor 6 is going to blow you away. The main highlight of the phone is 5-inch HD display and its price. A 3.5mm headphone jack is also a part of this package, and the Honor 6 Play measures 143.8 x 72 x 8.85mm, and weighs 150 grams. The phone is available for buy starting today.
