The Cowboys now open the regular season schedule with a game against the New York Giants on Sunday night (Sept. 10). The Giants got to the Dallas 37, but head coach Ben McAdoo elected to punt on fourth-and-1. You want him out there.
Odell Beckham Jr.'s health: The biggest question going into the game is the health of the Giants' best offensive player. For those with a television subscription, the game can be watched on the NBC broadcast network.
WHAT SHARPS SAY: The Giants have dominated this series of late, winning the money the last five games in a row. 'Covers Expert Marc Lawrence'. The Cowboys hold a comfortable advantage overall (62-46-2), but the Giants have won three straight. The Cowboys gave up just 30 total points in both games. The Giants were able to hold a team that averaged 26.3 points per game to that same number, total, in both games a year ago.
The status of Giants start wide receiver Odell Beckham, Jr.is very much up in the air tonight. I'm going to work under the assumption he plays. "We'll see how he responds".
Fortunately, even if the Giants are without Beckham on Sunday, New York will have newcomer Brandon Marshall on the field and ready to shoulder the load offensively.
"You try and get better each and every day", Beckham said Wednesday.

What will happen Sunday night when the New York Giants face the Dallas Cowboys?
"We have some weapons", quarterback Eli Manning said, per Myers.
If he is able to play, numberFire's models project Beckham to haul in 6.6 catches for 88.4 yards and 0.72 touchdowns in Week 1. "We still got guys who can make plays". In the eight previous matchups in Dallas only one of the games have been decided by more than a touchdown, each of the past two games have been decided by a single point.
Elliott's return is imperative for the Cowboys to stop their slide against the Giants. Add in home-field advantage for the Cowboys and it's easy to see a silly Manning mistake down the stretch handing Dallas an important early-season victory.
Underdog is 4-1 ATS in their last 5 meetings.
