Madonna at the MET 2017 Costume Institute Gala on the theme of "Rei Kawakubo/comme des Garçons: Art Of The In-Between" in NY on may 1, 2017.
See more on what Madonna has been up to in the video below.
The superstar announced the move on her Instagram alongside a picture of baskets hanging from the ceiling.
And the music legend said her move has encouraged her to make new music and "conquer the world from a different vantage point". The new album will be Madonna's 14th studio effort.
"This will be the next Chapter in My Book!" she continued.
While we're looking forward to all her new endeavors, Madonna did open up to Harper's Bazaar regarding the film she's been working on, Loved.
As for the music, it is going to be her first release following 2015's Rebel Heart. The singer made her directorial debut with 2008's "Filth and Wisdom". In addition to David and Mercy, who she adopted in 2006 and 2009 respectively, she became an adoptive mother to twin girls in February (17).
LOVED, which will soon be there in the cinematic universe, will be an adaptation of Andrew Sean Greer's novel The Impossible Lives of Greta Wells. Madonna also co-wrote the screenplay. Why did I want to adapt it into a screenplay? Madonna previously shared that her "Loved" movie project is a film which will tackle great and important topics in the society. "Right now, more than ever, it's an extremely timely story to tell".
