The episode was released Thursday both on Facebook and Apple TV with a disclaimer stating it was released with the permission of Bennington's family and bandmates, and it was dedicated to the late singer's memory.
The footage features a Bennington in high spirits, laughing and joking around with host Ken Jeong while also partying hard with his Linkin Park on the Karaoke bus. "It feels like a real band already - we're already fighting", he says.
The episode's release comes after the show's creator, James Corden, said Chester's family would make the final decision as to whether or not it would go to air.
"With the blessing of Chester's family and his bandmates, we share this episode, and dedicate it to the memory of Chester".
Jeong began the episode by asking if he could join the band before they began singing along to their song "Numb".
"I forgot the words, I'm having so much fun!"
Bennington died at age 41 after being found in his Southern California home. Four months after Bennington took his own life, the band is preparing to honor him with a tribute concert later this month featuring Blink 182, Bring Me The Horizon, and many other bands.
Bennington's bandmates from Linkin Park will host a benefit in his memory October 27 at Hollywood Bowl in California.
