This news comes on the heels of a report that Paddock tried to reserve a room in Downtown Las Vegas during the Life is lovely outdoor music festival.
According to TMZ, Stephen Paddock, the gunman in the Las Vegas massacre, booked two rooms in the Blackstone Hotel overlooking Lollapalooza.
TMZ reports its sources say Paddock had never booked a room at the hotel before, nor had his girlfriend and that neither showed up for the August booking. Paddock specifically requested rooms be a "view room" overlooking Grant Park, which is where the annual concert is held.
Paddock's reservations began August 1 and 3, according to the reports, and Lollapalooza began on August 3. This year the festival began on August 3 and finished on August 6. The Mesquite, Nevada man killed 59 people Sunday night and wounded more than 500 others at a music festival, firing high-powered rifles from his 32nd-floor room at the Mandalay Bay Resort & Casino in what was the deadliest mass shooting in modern USA history. It's been attended by celebrities and even Malia Obama. ABC News also reported Paddock's hotel reservation.
Police also say Paddock may have planned to escape the scene.
