A party came to an abrupt end Sunday morning in Texas after the floor full of party-goers collapsed underneath them into the apartment below.
Students and families have been coming by the apartments all day Sunday to gather what belongings they could.
Authorities say the building will remain closed until further notice. A general manager at the complex told residents in an email that a structural engineer will evaluate the building and that those who were displaced would be reimbursed for lodging expenses, the Denton Record-Chronicle reports. Soon after, 911 calls started pouring in with reports of a roof collapse.
Seven people were injured as Denton firefighters discovered partygoers on the third floor falling into their neighbors living room.

The videos capture the moment the floor caved in and the group of dancing and jumping revelers crashed from the third floor into the apartment below.
"My sister received a housing scholarship and was working to pay for her things on her own".
Resident Carly Carroll told the broadcaster: "Its worse than you could possibly imagine because the sprinklers were on for two hours so not only was all of our stuff crushed, but it's completely soaked with water".
One woman named Carley Carroll created a GoFundMe account for her sister, who lived in the apartment underneath where the party was taking place. They were at the police department reporting the party.
According to witnesses, students were jumping inside the small and crowded apartment, causing it to collapse. "Everything is gone", said Carroll.
