If you liked the look of Monster Hunter: World during Sony's Paris Games Week show last night then you won't have long to wait to play it, as long as you own a PlayStation 4.

Monster Hunter: World will be releasing a PlayStation 4 exclusive DLC called "Horizon Zero Dawn" that will give owners access to Aloy from the game Horizon Zero Dawn along with Aloy's bow and armour.

Retaining the series' skill based progression and robust crafting system, players gear up to venture on quests to seek and slay monsters, progressively improving their skills to become the ultimate hunter.

Running from December 9th to the 12th, the beta will feature three missions that can be played solo or cooperatively. Making the character playable for Monster Hunter: World should be a treat for those that adored the lead.

The beta version will require players to hunt for "a Great Jagras and an Anjanath in the Ancient Forest, and a Barroth in the Wildspire Waste", according to Sony's post. The full armor set will make any player character look like Aloy from head to toe, including facial likeness. It's gonna be a wild ride, Monster Hunters!

The PS4 gets its Monster Hunter World beta on December 9! Rotten Vale will be a land of unique and very big creatures awaits amongst this bed of bones, that will be littered with the skeletons of deceased monsters.

Monster Hunter: World launches on January 26 for PlayStation 4, Windows PC and Xbox One.
