Fans of NetherRealms' fighting game Injustice 2 are in for a treat with the Fighter Pack 3 DLC. But one thing is for sure, I'm so, so, so glad that their design is based on the puppets from the 1990 live-action movie instead of those horrendous looking CGI monstrosities in Michael Bay's reboot of the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles. Ahead of that, developer NetherRealm Studios has revealed the fighters arriving in the game's third DLC pack, and they include The Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles.
The Injustice 2 Ultimate Edition and the Ultimate Pack feature a grand total of nine additional playable characters, along with three Premiere Skins that can change select fighters into alternate characters with new skins, voices and dialogue lines.
Injustice 2 is further giving us characters outside of the DC universe.
The reveal trailer does not show any gameplay sample yet, so it is hard to say how the action is with having all four characters.
The trailer starts with Black Mantis and Raiden getting beat up and then we see Atom and another lady fighting, and then we get to see the four turtles make their appearance. It'll be interesting to see how they play compared to the rest of the cast. The game is out now on PS4 and Xbox One.
The new fighters won't be available immediately on launch of the PC version. For PC players, the game will finally arrive for you to play on November 14.
