Video of the incident was shared on social media, and shows four officers picking up the woman at Hard Rock Stadium and start to carry her out.
A viral video captures the moment a police officer punched a "drunk" woman in the face while other officers carried her out of a University of Miami football game on Saturday. His full name has not been released.
Nearly immediately the officer pulls back his arm and punches the woman in the face.
The video shows that there are four officers holding each of her limbs and lifting her up and out of the stadium: She wasn't going anywhere, and with 4-on-1 odds, there is clearly only one party in control.
The Miami-Dade police department says it is looking into the officers' actions and Freitas has been arrested.
She then sat on the stairs of the section and refused to move, leading to the officers having to forcibly take her out.
It was Halloween night when Tina M. Farrington, 31, used a pillow to suffocate Tania Paige in their Tuscany Place apartment, at 25470 SW 137 Ave., an arrest report released Monday said. The Pembroke Pines woman, a registered nurse, bonded out Sunday morning.
"After responding to a disturbance, the person in the video was being removed from the event by our officers for being disorderly".
They arrived to find Freitas arguing with other fans and using loud profanity. There were multiple skirmishes that required the involvement of law enforcement in the stands during Saturday's game, according to the AP.
University of Miami officials said they were aware of the video and were also gathering information.
