The Best Places to Work are determined using company reviews shared by US -based employees between November 1, 2016 and October 22, 2017.
Facebook has made the list for eight of the 10 years that Glassdoor has published the report. We always encourage our current and former employees to give us honest and open feedback and put transparency at the heart of everything we do.
Employment-centric startup Glassdoor just released their list of the top 100 Best Places to Work in 2018.
"We know today's job seekers are more informed than ever about where they go to work, researching everything from company culture to career opportunities to pay philosophy and more". Since we cover technology over here at TechCrunch, we broke out the top 10 tech companies from the list. Glassdoor CEO Robert Hohman says they've observed employees appreciate Facebook's "mission-driven culture, transparent leadership and the fact that their work literally impacts the lives of billions of people worldwide".

The rankings are compiled through workers' reviews of the company's overall rating, career opportunities, compensation & benefits, culture & values, senior management, work/life balance, recommend to a friend and business outlook. The winners are determined using Glassdoor's proprietary algorithm and are based on reviews and ratings employees shared during the past year.
