The first trailer of "Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom" has been released by the makers. Some eagle-eyed dinosaur lovers claimed they were able to count over a dozen dinosaur species in the video. Naturally, things go a bit south. Beyond Goldblum, Chris Pratt returns as Owen Grady and Bryce Dallas Howard reprises her role as Claire Dearing. Trevorrow is still heavily involved here, though, as he co-wrote the screenplay with Jurassic World co-writer Derek Connolly and served as an executive producer. Jurassic World was the surprise hit of the year, and critics mostly seemed to like it.
Chris Pratt can still speak dinosaur in Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom, but it looks pretty useless in the film's new trailer, which dropped Thursday night.
Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom is set for release on June 22nd, 2018.
Although the film's trailer is clear on what the storyline is, here is the official synopsis of the Fallen Kingdom. And speaking of fan favourites, we also get to see more of Blue, everyone's favourite velociraptor. Isla Nublar now sits abandoned by humans while the surviving dinosaurs fend for themselves in the jungles. There's a volcano about to explode on the island and Claire wants to save the dinosaurs from going extinct again.
