Kelly Clarkson's family suffered a scary incident this week.
The two officially met past year during Kehlani's interview with Nessa of Hot 97, where they discussed body shamming in hip hop and the importance of women supporting each other. She revealed at Thursday's Billboard's Women in Music event that her Los Angeles home was broken into, but the singer is still reflecting on the positive abundance in her life.
"Yeah, it was insane, we got here and our whole house was like bashed in, it was insane", Clarkson told Extra's Renee Bargh.
She said burglars got away with "materialistic things we didn't care about...the guy was in our kids' room, so that was a little weird".
"At the end of every day, you're just going to have more anxiety if you don't do what the f**k you want to, even if it's in the most minor way", she told Billboard.
Kelly has children River Rose, three, and Remington Alexander, 19 months with her husband Brandon Blackstock.
She also praised Pink, who she performed with at the American Music Awards in November, and who is also a former Billboard honouree. That's my real goal ... to remind everyone that there's room for everyone.
'I think if we start it at that young age, and you start molding people and growing to these very elevated individuals that help elevate society. "There are so many women before us that work so hard for us to have these opportunities and these blessings bestowed upon us".
