Xiaomi Mi A1 Special Edition Red colour variant has been launched by the company in India. The Mi A1 Special Edition Red continues to have same innards and is priced at Rs 13,999.
The all-new Red colour variant of the Mi A1 will be sold in limited quantities from December 20, 2017, via Mi.com and Flipkart.
Mi A1 is the Android One smartphone that Xiaomi introduced in partnership with Google this year. Xiaomi recently launched the Red edition of the Mi A1 in Indonesia a few days back. It will be also available in Mi Home stores and other Mi partnered outlets.
Unlike the company's popular Redmi series of handsets, Xiaomi Mi A1 does not ship with a big battery. Xiaomi is now selling the phone in matte black, gold, and rose gold.
The Special Edition Red variant of the Mi A1 comes with same specifications as the other three colour variants. The phone, with its all metal body and dual rear cameras looks remarkably like the iPhone 7 Plus from every nook and corner. It is powered by an octa-core Snapdragon 625 processor, just like the Xiaomi Redmi Note 4. The device has already started receiving Android 8.0 Oreo update and the company also announced that the device will also get Android P. The smartphone come with a 5.5-inch full HD with 1080x1920 pixels resolution.
Furthermore, the Redmi Note 5 will also feature a 12-megapixel sensor on the front camera, as well as a dual camera with 16-megapixel and 5-megapixel sensors. A hybrid microSD card is present on the phone to expand the storage. The phone is packed with Fingerprint sensor embedded at the back.
Main camera setup: The smartphone is packed with a dual rear-facing camera with 12 MP wide-angle shooter and a 12 MP telephoto lens. The Xiaomi Mi A1 supports 4G, dual-band Wi-Fi, Wi-Fi Direct, Wi-Fi Display, hybrid SIM card slot, 3.5mm headphone jack, Global Positioning System and Bluetooth.
