Maharashtra Bandh on Wednesday affected the business of Salman Khan starrer Tiger Zinda Hai but yet the film has minted decent money at the Box Office. But Jumanji was able to reverse that trend and began its journey in India with double of what Star Wars could earn-- Rs 4.11 crore.
Salman already has two of his films in the Rs 300 crore club. The film also stars Paresh Rawal, Angad Bedi, Kumud Mishra and Girish Karnad.
On its opening day itself, Tiger Zinda Hai collected Rs 34.10 crore and went on to make Rs 45.53 crore on its first Sunday, making it the highest single-day collection of any Salman Khan movie ever. The movie revolves around the two agents trying to rescue 25 abducted nurses from a terrorist group in Iraq.
Sequel to the 2012 super-hit, Ek Tha Tiger, the Ali Abbas Zafar directorial sent the cash registers ringing from the day it released. Have a look at the highest grossing Bollywood movies worldwide. With the current pace, we are expecting the movie to earn around 35 crores in the third week.
