The Vending Machines can be found "in many locations across the island". Panic buying in the face of minute snowfall is bad enough-imagine how strapped for resources we'll be during an extinction event?
The big addition to battle royale with this week's content update is the Vending Machine.
The latest update to hit Fortnite: Battle Royale adds a host of exciting new objects, with Vending Machines now joining the likes of Ammo Boxes and Loot Llamas as interactive means to enhance your competitive edge. Vending Machines will offer a distinct offensive advantage for players who utilize them smartly, but also force them to choose wisely about how they use their materials.
Taking to the official forums, Epic Games announced that the update will land for all platforms, and won't actually require any title updating, so you won't have to have any gaming downtime. Vending Machines will host 3 items, with one item purchasable by wood, stone and metal each.
Part of the fun with vending machines is the random nature of them. If you are short on time, you can pickaxe it to skip to the next three items.
Items found in a Common (white) version will cost 100 materials.
The gnomes have been in the game for some time, but they are quite rare and players would only really spot them if they are looking out for them.
Fortnite is available now on PC, PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and iOS.
