The Moto G6 series include smartphones like Moto G6, Moto G6 Plus, and Moto G6 Play. However, before the official announcement, the phone has been listed on Amazon in the United States and Canada, revealing the key specifications and price of the Moto G6 32GB model.
Keen-eyed tipster Roland Quandt noticed Moto G6 32GB model listed on Canada and the USA edition of Amazon and once, it got reported in the media, the webpage was taken down.
Besides the generic Moto G6, Lenovo-owned Motorola will also be unveiling low-end Moto G6 Play and a high-end Moto G6 Plus. Moto G6 is expected to sport a design similar to that of Moto X4. Going by our exclusive image of the Moto G6 Plus, the phone has a front-facing fingerprint reader. The back of the device shows the circular single rear camera with LED flash. The highlight of the G6 Play will be the fingerprint scanner placement; It's housed inside the Motorola dimple at the back, which is nothing new, but manufacturers have long forgotten this. Following the same, the renders of all the three smartphones in the G6 lineup have come to light. There will also be a dual camera setup with 12 and 5 MP resolution, and a 3000 mAh battery. According to the listing page, the smartphone sports a 5.7-inch full HD+ display with 18:9 aspect ratio. It is expected to be powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 450 SoC coupled with Adreno 506 GPU, 4GB RAM and 64GB of inbuilt storage.
The G6 Plus meanwhile will be available in indigo and gold and it too will have a dual-lens camera on the rear and a front-mounted home button with integrated fingerprint sensor. The phone will likely be powered by a more powerful Snapdragon 630 SoC.
On the other hand, Moto G6 Play will sport a 5.7-inch HD (1280x720p) display, 2GB/3GB RAM, 16GB/32GB storage, Qualcomm Snapdragon 430 processor, a 12MP primary camera, a 5MP front snapper and a 4,000mAh battery. All three phones are expected to ship with Android Oreo out-of-the-box.
