Motorola Moto G6 Play is listed with a 5.7-inch IPS display with a resolution of 1440×720 pixels.
The back of the G6 has also gotten a redesign. It is seen to have a sleek metal frame with a camera bump on the back. For instance, it still comes with the series' signature water-repellent coating. Interestingly, the fingerprint scanner is at the front of the Moto G6 and Moto G6 Plus but at the rear end of the Moto G6 Play. It does say the front camera is an 8MP sensor with its own flash and also goes into detail about the new features of the camera software.
Moto G6's selective focus feature will essentially let users background or foreground in images. Powered by Artificial Intelligence (AI), the cameras on Moto G6 will be able to recognise object and scenes. It also has support for Face Unlock. The handset also features a front-facing fingerprint scanner and a 3.5mm headphone jack. Swiping to the left takes you back, a right swipe takes you to recent apps, a tap takes you home, and a long press locks the phone. Now not only their specifications but also their purported prices have been revealed. There is also a built-in blue light filter.
Some key features, that is, like 4 gigs of RAM, paired with your choice of 32 or 64GB internal storage space. This variant likely has 3GB of RAM. The storage on the phone is expandable via a microSD card. The Moto Z3 Play will be a sort of a mini flagship smartphone from the company, which offers most of the features found on the flagship Z series smartphone at a reasonable price tag. This means a launch should be scheduled for April. Killer Features has also put out the price of Moto G6 and Moto G6 Play. In terms of optics, the handset will sport a 12-megapixel rear camera with LED Flash and 5-megapixel secondary rear camera.
Unfortunately, there is no information regarding the pricing of the Moto G6 Plus as of yet.
According to Android Headlines report, which quotes an "in-house Motorola document", Moto G6 will have an Attentive display, which remains turned on when the user is looking at it. There will be a microSD card slot for storage expansion. Under the hood, the smartphone is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 450 processor, teamed with 4GB of RAM and 64GB of expandable (up to 256GB) inbuilt storage.
