As for Ferrell, video taken by paparazzi at the scene shows the "Talladega Nights" actor speaking to paramedics before being taken by ambulance to Mission Hospital. Will and his colleague, Andrew Steele, were unhurt and have been released from an Orange County hospital. A representative for Ferrell said Friday his vehicle had flipped on its side.
Ferrell has confirmed he's OK and did not suffer any significant injuries.
The actor, pictured here in London a year ago, came out of the crash "unhurt" and has now been released from hospital. Ferrell's SUV then struck the center divider median and subsequently overturned.
No injuries were reported in the second vehicle, Kurtz said. The driver of the Toyota was not hurt.
On Thursday night, Ferrell appeared at a amusing or Die event in San Diego called Glam Up the Midterms. A woman in his auto was seen bleeding after the crash, a witness told TMZ. "Very scary nevertheless very grateful everybody appears to be OK".
Ferrell holidayed in Australia in January with his wife and friends, appearing regularly at the Australian Open where he spoke of his love of Melbourne and the Yarra Valley wine region.
