KXIP vs KKR Live Score

Guillermo del Toro is developing Netflix's first horror anthology series.

The streaming giant has purchased a horror anthology series titled 10 After Midnight from the critically acclaimed director, who recently won two Oscars for The Shape of Water.

The Shape of Water writer-director del Toro created the series and will write and direct certain episodes. Del Toro will curate the episodes while writing and directing some of them. Meanwhile, Bachelor creator Mike Fleiss' new dating competition series The Proposal will debut Monday, June 18 at 10 pm. It seems likely this new anthology series will blend his different styles from all of his projects.

This will technically be Del Toro's second collaboration with Netflix; he also co-created the animated series Trollhunters for the streaming service. It returns this May 25 for its final season. Del Toro is, by now, a film establishment all of his own - though it should be remembered that Hitch was the master of suspense, while del Toro's genre is decidedly horror. The film was nominated for 13 Oscars and took home wins in the Best Picture, Best Director, Best Production Design, and Best Original Music Score categories. Del Toro is also said to be choosing a team of top horror writers and filmmakers to bring his stories to the screen.

His live-action films include Crimson Peak, Pan's Labyrinth and Hellboy. Netflix can't answer these questions yet, but from the looks of it, the show is still early in development.

We can't wait to find whatever monsters del Toro has dragged out from under our beds.
