As you can probably guess, Halo Infinite will be a Microsoft exclusive and only available on the Xbox One console family or Window PC. The company has bought UK-based Playground Games and Ninja Theory, as well as Seattle-based Undead Labs and Montreal-based Compulsion Games.
Playground Games, started in 2010, is the developer behind the Forza racing series and has been a long-time Xbox partner. The latest game in the Forza Horizon series is going to be bringing some interesting new features with it, including a new setting and dynamically shifting seasons.

The acquisitions and new studio will give Microsoft a deeper slate of games in years to come.
Spencer said the company was increasing its investments in existing game franchises and looking to create new ones.
