White House press secretary Sarah Sanders revealed in a tweet on Tuesday that the talks between U.S. President Donald Trump and North Korean leader Kim Jong-un will be held at the Capella Hotel on Singapore's Sentosa Island on June 12th.

Sung Kim, who has been leading a U.S. delegation to pre-summit negotiations with North Korea on the inter-Korean border, Nauert said. "Discussions have been very positive, and significant progress has been made", Sanders said.
Meanwhile, Yonhap News Agency reported Wednesday that American career diplomat Sung Kim was back at the inter-Korean border to meet with North Korean Vice Foreign Minister Choe Son-hui.
Hosting the summit is expected to strengthen Singapore's already close relations with the United States and improve its ties with North Korea, which has been under strain after Singapore introduced some severe measures against Pyongyang.
She added that Trump is getting daily briefings on North Korea in the runup to the landmark meeting.
In an April interview with TMZ, Rodman said that Kim didn't understand the president until he gave the North Korean strongman a copy of Trump's ghost-written book The Art of the Deal for his birthday in 2017.
Under successive members of the Kim family, around whom a nationwide cult of personality is built, North Korea has regularly shown a willingness to engage in bellicose rhetoric, especially in response to insults of its leader. "They're just excited; if we can make it happen, it's great", Hentschel said.
The White House last month unveiled its own commemorative medallion for the summit, showing Trump and Kim looking at each other with their nation's flags behind them. "So I think you should anticipate that at some point down the road, this will turn into a China-US-South Korea-North Korea talks", Rubio told Fox news. My prediction is that at some point during this process, if I were the North Koreans, I'd want to extend this. "We are talking about the installation of a gas pipeline", the Russian president said.
