Animal Adventure Park in Harpursville, N.Y., hinted April may have been pregnant in late June when zoo staffers sent the animal's feces to a lab for testing.
April the giraffe became an internet sensation past year when more than a million viewers waited and watched Animal Adventure's live Giraffe Cam to watch April give birth to a healthy, male calf named Tajiri.
'The results are in, ' park owner Jordan Patch exclaimed to Today.
Last year, 1.2 million viewers tuned into Facebook Live and YouTube to watch April the giraffe giving birth.
Tajiri and the newest calf will share the same father.
"The average [gestational period] for a giraffe is 15 months", he explained. The park continues to stream video of April and her family.
Last month, Patch announced that they were performing some tests on April's fecal matter to determine if April would be carrying another calf. "At Animal Adventure Park, our top priority is preserving these handsome, majestic creatures and increasing awareness of the threat giraffes are facing", Mr. Patch said in a statement. "19 months", he said.

The livestream racked up more than 232 million live views and 7.6 billion minutes of live watch time.
