In the main event of UFC 226, Cormier challenged Stipe Miocic for the UFC heavyweight title. Cormier now holds the UFC's light heavyweight and heavyweight titles and is now only the second person to ever hold two titles simultaneously in the UFC.
Rumours of his desire to return to MMA began to surface in the midst of WrestleMania season with many fans assuming Lesnar would lose the Universal Championship to Roman Reigns back in April, but Lesnar retained at WrestleMania 34 and the Greatest Royal Rumble.
Cormier called out Lesnar following his big win, when Lesnar came in to crash the party.

White said Lesnar was going to fight whomever won Saturday night at T-Mobile Arena.

Lesnar wasted no time hitting back: "Let me tell you something, I walk into this building and watch the heavyweight disasters from the beginning".
Lesnar seems to be the first in line after storming the cage after UFC 226, but the WWE star should be some way off a return as he has to serve out a frozen doping suspension and re-enter the testing pool.
It was pure pro wrestling promotion, but it starts the hype ahead of a potential matchup between the pair, with rumours circulating that they will meet at UFC 230 at Madison Square Garden in NY on 3 November. "Even if I already know what's going to happen".
