"Imagine if Sacha Baron Cohen had been undercover secretly filming a new show for a year..." the video says, before launching into a montage of out-of-context images, including a big old naked butt.

After the vaguest of vague teasers last week, Cohen dropped a clip on Twitter that still doesn't answer a ton of questions but does feature the undercover filmmaker getting Dick Cheney to cheerfully sign a waterboard kit on camera. This is gonna be a good 'un. "That's the first time I signed signed a waterboard". "You've been warned" the posters tease, while giving us the first glance of Cohen's character - a guy suspiciously peeking out of windows with various eyewear. Check out the teaser videos above and see the Trump promo clip below.

Cheney has been vocal about his support for extreme interrogation techniques, including waterboarding, saying in a May interview with Fox that he believes the discontinued methods should be reinstated. Written and directed by Cohen, the seven-episode series will explore individuals known and unknown across the American political spectrum. "Sacha Baron Cohen go to school, learn about being amusing, you don't know s***".

It also follows news from earlier this year, in which it was said that Baron Cohen was trying to get in a room with O.J. Simpson.

It seemed like Cohen was done with prank interviews after the movie BrĂ¼no, but for the past week or so there have been hints that he's been up to something for Showtime.

Baron Cohen, for his part, told James Corden in 2016 that he was "the first person to realize" that Trump "was a dick".
