The comedian teased the president on Independence Day by posting a video on Twitter that appears to be a trailer for a new project. For example, Borat was about how Americans saw cultural diversity in their country, specifically with immigrants. In a rare post on Twitter, which is ironic considering just how often Trump tweets, Baron Cohen shared a teaser video that features Trump doing his usual shtick: Suggesting violence be done against the comedian, expressing his belief that he should be "fired", and saying he should go to "schoo-ol" to "learn about being amusing".
Then there's the role of President Donald Trump. "He ought to be fired immediately".
"Go to school. Learn about being amusing".
In Cohen's ABC interview, the longtime personal attorney to Trump said he would wait until his new legal team was in place before deciding whether to cooperate with government prosecutors. "You don't know shit", Trump continues.
Shockingly, these comments made by Trump were never released online, so this is the first we are seeing of this footage.
Baron Cohen also baited Trump by wearing a "Make America Great Again" cap and brandishing a hand gun at the film's premiere in the US.
Titles then reveal "Sacha graduates... soon", before a logo from Trump's long-defunct Trump University is shown on screen.
Perhaps Cohen attended Trump University and is only now sharing his experience with the company, or maybe he created his own version of Trump University using the kinds of characters he became famous for.
In February it was reported that Baron Cohen paid convicted armed robber OJ Simpson £15,000 to lure him to a hotel room a prank for an undisclosed new project, not believed to be the Greed movie. Or will the project skew closer to a mockumentary about the failed "university" itself?
