Everton's stunning final day of the summer transfer window has seen them confirm the arrivals of Yerry Mina and Andre Gomes from Barcelona. Meanwhile Gomes moves on loan for the season for 2.25 million.

The 25-year-old had been a free agent since leaving Shakhtar Donestk at the end of last season and was inundated with offers, particularly from the Premier League.

Yerry Mina and André Gomes posed together in Everton shirts after arriving in Liverpool.

Everton had a dramatic end to the window, wrapping up deals for Bernard - the Brazil global who arrived on a free from Shakthar Donetsk - and Andre Gomes, the Portuguese midfielder who had also been at Barcelona.

Multiple reports said the Toffees also had reached a deal with Chelsea for the loan of defender Kurt Zouma, though that has yet to be confirmed with the deadline passed.

Barcelona can buy the centre-half back for around £30m if he does well at Goodison but, for now, he is an Everton player.

'I chose Everton because of all the things I'd heard about Marco Silva and because Everton is a club with a lot of tradition, ' Bernard told the club's official website. He has achieved really good things at other clubs.

At the age of just 23 and having signed a five-year contract, he could be in line for a long future at Goodison Park. This is a great opportunity for me and I am looking forward to competing here.

Another addition from the Nou Camp, midfielder Andre Gomes, joined on a season's loan.
