Juventus could sack coach Allegri today or tomorrow, and according to Gazzetta and all the other major sources in Italy, the Italian tactician could even be fired for just cause.
According to most Italian media, the club lawyers are evaluating the possible scenarios, but Allegri’s sacking today or tomorrow remains the most likely scenario.
Gazzetta says Juventus directors and owner John Elkann are irritated by Allegri’s attitude at the Stadio Olimpico, so they could decide to terminate his contract two games before the end of the season.
According to the pink paper U19 coach Montero, a former Juventus defender, has already been informed that he could lead the team in the final two games of the season against Bologna and Monza.
At the same time, Juventus have already identified Thiago Motta as their new coach for 2024-25.
Only Il Corriere dello Sport claims Juventus will pardon Allegri and let him finish the season, but it is understood that Juventus has not yet made a final decision.
In the meantime, Allegri and his staff members have arrived at Continassa and are expected to lead the training session at 11:30 local time this morning.

Firing coaches mid-season is very unusual at Juventus, and this is only the third time it has happened in the last 50 years.
The others were Claudio Ranieri in 2008-09, making way for Ciro Ferrara, then Ferrara himself fired in 2009-10 to be replaced by Alberto Zaccheroni.
Unlike those coaches, Allegri had already achieved all the targets set for him this season, qualifying for the Champions League, the Club World Cup and winning the Coppa Italia.
Curiously, the last time Allegri was dismissed by Juve was also on May 17, that time in 2019.
He returned in the summer of 2021 and over the total eight seasons he won five Serie A titles, four editions of the Coppa Italia and two Supercoppa Italiana trophies.
