The Juventus chiefs met with the first team at Continassa today ahead of their first training session following the dismissal of Massimiliano Allegri.
The 56-year-old Livornese tactician was unceremoniously sacked by the Old Lady on Friday afternoon following his aggressive outburst in the closing stages of the Coppa Italia final win over Atalanta on Wednesday.
Allegri was furious on the touchline and threw off his jacket before getting in the face of the fourth official. After being sent off, his fury continued as he started to strip off his tie and shirt before storming down the tunnel, where he damaged a LaPresse photo area and insulted Tuttosport editor-in-chief Guido Vaciago.
First session without Allegri
Football Italia understands that Juventus president Gianluca Ferrero, CEO Maurizio Scanavino and sporting director Cristiano Giuntoli had a talk with the first team ahead of their training session at Continassa, which was led by technical coaches Simone Padoin and Francesco Magnanelli.
The Bianconeri are gearing up for their Monday evening Serie A clash with Bologna, which’ll see Primavera coach Paolo Montero in the dugout.
