Milan starlet Francesco Camarda is only a step away from signing a new contract after months of negotiations, closing the door to interested clubs like Manchester City.

The teenage sensation emerged as one of the most exciting talents in Italian youth systems this term when he broke into the Under-19 squad aged just 15, shining despite playing with peers who were multiple years his senior.

Camarda, who made his Milan first team debut back in November, has scored 13 goals and provided four assists in 40 appearances for the Primavera squad, attracting the attention of various clubs like Manchester City and Bayern Munich.

Camarda verbal agreement

Page 16 of today’s Gazzetta dello Sport details how Milan are confident that Camarda will finally pen a new contract following a recent meeting with his entourage, where a verbal agreement was reached regarding the terms and future plans, likely a three-year deal.

The plan is for the talented teenager to train partly with the first team whilst being promoted to the new Under-23 squad, which is expected to be officially unveiled next month.

  1. Francesco Camarda should be playing in the senior team of the Italian squad for this upcoming Euro 2024 if Italy have any chance of even getting to the knockout stages. Cause the way the Italians are playing is very scary cause looking by the qualifications they were lucky. That much I can say… They need a new way of playing style and strategy if they’re hoping to progress to the next phase. I’m even afraid of their chances in the group stage. They need young players like Destiny Udogie and Camarda. Enough with the old players…
