According to La Gazzetta dello Sport, Juventus and Italy star Federico Chiesa will likely leave Turin in the summer if Massimiliano Allegri remains in charge in 2024-25.
Chiesa’s contract at the Allianz Stadium expires in June 2025 and according to Gazzetta, Juventus are in a hurry to extend his stay at the club.
Juventus don’t want to risk losing the Italian striker on a free transfer next year, so if he refuses to commit his future to the club, the Bianconeri will put him on the market this summer.
Chiesa expected to leave Juventus if Allegri stays
The Serie A giants will have more chances to extend with Chiesa if coach Allegri leaves, according to Gazzetta.
The report claims Chiesa is not on good terms with Allegri, so if the Livorno-born coach remains in charge, Chiesa will almost certainly ask to leave.
Gazzetta confirms Juventus could offer Chiesa a new one-year deal and discuss the terms of a new agreement again next year. Chiesa raged at Allegri two weeks ago after being substituted in the second half of the derby della Mole.
The Italian star joined the Old Lady from Fiorentina in 2020 and has scored 30 goals in 124 appearances with the Bianconeri.
